These are the plain-language rules for using One Dollar Decks. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use One Dollar Decks.
1. What One Dollar Decks is
One Dollar Decks builds finished slide decks from your content — a description, a document, a website or a PowerPoint — in a look you choose. It is a tool that works on your content and your references. It is not a stock library and it is not a place to copy other people's work.
2. Your account
You need an account to make a deck. Keep your password private; anything done from your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to open an account.
3. Ownership — the one rule that matters most
You may only upload, paste or reference designs, images, logos, documents and PowerPoints that you own or have permission to use — a template you bought, your own work, your company's brand, or material you are licensed to adapt. Before every deck is built, One Dollar Decks asks you to confirm this. When you tick that box you are promising it is true. Our full policy, including how we handle reports, is on the Copyright & ownership page.
If you upload something you don't have the right to use, that is on you, not on us. We may remove the work and close the account.
4. What you get, and what you own
The decks One Dollar Decks makes for you are yours to use — present them, send them, post them, sell them to your own clients. We claim no ownership of your inputs or your outputs. You grant us only the limited permission we need to process your files and show your work back to you.
A deck downloads as a PDF and as a PowerPoint (.pptx). Each slide is one finished picture, so it looks the same wherever it opens; its words can't be retyped in PowerPoint. You change a slide here, by saying what to change.
5. Paying for it
One Dollar Decks charges per finished page of a deck. The price is on the button before you press it. You pay when you ask for page one (except on your first deck, when it is free) and when you build the rest — by card for just that deck, or from a balance you have added. The story and the plan are always free. A job that fails is never charged. If a deck comes back wrong, we will re-run it or put the money back.
6. Pages, changes, your balance and refunds
- A deck costs $1 a page, for each finished page. The price is on the button before you press it. Reading your material, the story and the plan are free, and walking away costs nothing. Page one is drawn before the rest so you can judge the look: it is free on your first deck, and after that it costs one page and becomes page one of that deck, so it is never paid for twice.
- A job that fails is never charged. If some slides of a deck fail, you pay only for the pages that were made, and retrying a slide that failed is free within 6 hours of the failure.
- Changing a finished slide by chat: the first change on each slide is free; after that each change is 8¢. Redrawing a slide from scratch costs the price of a page.
- Your balance is spent only on One Dollar Decks. Your balance has no cash value and can't be transferred to another person or account.
- Money you paid in does not expire.
- Bonus money (the extra we add on some deposits) expires 12 months after it is added. Bonus money is spent first, so it rarely goes to waste.
- Unused money you paid in can be refunded on request within 30 days of adding it. Bonus money can't be refunded.
- If you close your account, unused money you paid in within that 30-day window can be refunded on request; the rest is forfeited.
To ask for a refund or a receipt, send us a message through our contact form, signed in or from the email address on your account.
7. What we can't promise
One Dollar Decks uses AI image and text models. They are very good and occasionally wrong — a word can be misspelled, a figure can be misread, a color can drift. Always check a deck before you present or send it. The service is provided "as is"; we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for losses that come from using it beyond the amount you paid us in the previous three months.
8. Things you may not do
- Upload work you don't own or have rights to.
- Make anything unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, or sexually explicit.
- Create fake logos, counterfeit brand material, or impersonate a person or company.
- Try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or resell access to it.
9. Ending things
You can close your account any time by sending us a message through our contact form. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. When an account closes, we delete its work within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep it.
10. Changes and contact
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll say so on this page and by email. Questions: our contact form.
One Dollar Decks is a Botmakers product. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
