Record a video — three steps

For anyone who explains things on video — demos, walk-throughs, lessons, talks — and wants it edited for them.

Open New video
Step by step
  1. 1
    1. Record it, or bring it

Press New video and pick Screen and camera, Screen only or Camera only — or Upload a video you already have. A teleprompter is there if you want one. Recording and uploading are free.

  2. 2
    2. Edit it

Choose the AI edit, eye contact and captions, and the sizes: wide, tall and square, all included. One price for all of it, $2 a minute of what you recorded (2 minutes at the least), shown on the button before anything is charged.

  3. 3
    3. Your videos

Play and download each size. Make short clips of the best moments ($1 each), a deck from what you said, or a campaign kit. It is kept in My files — file it in a project with the rest.

Tips
  • You can leave the page while it is edited — it is in My files, and opens where it is.
  • Present a deck on camera: its speaker notes go in your teleprompter.
If something goes wrong

The messages the page can show, and what to do.

“This costs … and you have … in credit. Pay by card for just this, or add credit on your Account page.”
Your balance can’t cover this. Pay by card for just this deck, or add money on the Account page — your work carries on from where you left off. Nothing was charged.
“Could not reach the maker — try again.”
Your connection dropped for a moment. Check you’re online and press the button again. A job that fails is never charged.
“That isn’t a video we can edit — use an MP4, WebM or MOV file.”
Save or export the video as MP4 (most phones and screen recorders do), then upload that file.
“The edit could not be made, and its price is back on your balance.”
Something went wrong on our side and nothing was charged. Press Edit my video again — if it fails twice, send us a message.
